On Wednesday 4th June, Rugby for Heroes was pleased to be the beneficiary charity at a polo event and lunch hosted by HMATAX at Beaufort Polo Club in the Cotswolds.
HMATAX, specialists in property capital tax allowances, are proud sponsors of Beaufort Polo Club, home to the renowned Tomlinson Polo dynasty. The event featured a three-team polo tournament, including one team representing Rugby for Heroes. The tournament followed a Round Robin format, with each team securing one victory, resulting in a balanced and competitive finish.
After the matches, guests enjoyed a lunch hosted by HMATAX, followed by a charity and silent auction in support of Rugby for Heroes. Our Patron, Mike Tindall, attended the event and spoke about his involvement with the charity and the importance of supporting military personnel as they transition out of the Armed Forces.

Mike highlighted a number of auction prizes, including a rugby shirt signed by both himself and fellow World Cup winner Martin Johnson. Andy Moss, Trustee of Rugby for Heroes, commented:
“We appreciate HMATAX selecting Rugby for Heroes as the beneficiary of this event. Opportunities like this help raise both awareness and funds to support the work we do with former members of the Armed Forces.”
