Our mission is built on three core pillars: rugby coaching, career development, and mental well-being support. Through accredited coaching qualifications, tailored employment pathways, and essential mental wellbeing resources, we equip serving and former members of the Armed Forces with the tools to build a rewarding civilian life.
By fostering the same sense of camaraderie, purpose, and teamwork found on the pitch and in the military, we help veterans find their place – and their passion – beyond service.

Words From Our Course Veterans
The Level 2 Coaching Course that Rugby for Heroes provided allowed me to transition from being an ex-player and a fan to actually giving something back to the game. The course itself allowed me to discover the confidence to coach, something I have never done before, and allowed me to have the confidence to teach in front of likeminded personnel from a similar background in the forces making it a more comfortable experience. After finishing the course in 2023 I contacted my local club and have been coaching the kids groups from Under 14s up to Under 16s ever since. I have also been leaning in with Corps Rugby for the AGC who I am the Corps Secretary for and also, more recently, I have taken on the role of Courses Coordinator for the Army Rugby Union.
